Yes, Beconfident products comply with EU directives according to 2011/84 / EU and our products are also registered with the Medical Products Agency. Additionally both we as a company, and our products, are insured which gives you as a consumer extra security. In addition to self-inspections, we have strict requirements that our products have correct documentation (MSDS) from manufacturers. Your safety, security and satisfaction are the most important goals for us.

In order to get the best possible results we recommend that you avoid coloured foods and beverages immediately after a teeth whitening treatment. If you wish to eat and drink as usual, we recommend that you also use Beconfident Tooth Gloss, which effectively protects the teeth against new discolouration occurring after bleaching.

It is possible to whiten teeth if you have artificial teeth of e.g. composite plastic / porcelain fillings, veneers or dental jewellery. These areas, however, will not be whitened as our products are designed to whiten enamel. Should you suffer from tooth loss or if you have open wounds in the oral cavity, it is recommended that you first consult your dentist before undertaking any whitening procedure.

No, Beconfident does not product test on animals.

Teeth whitening treatments from Beconfident® work in exactly the same way as those done at the dentist. The teeth whitening gel effectively removes discolourations, which makes your teeth whiter and improves your smile. The teeth whitening process does not damage or change the enamel, but only removes the discoloured particles on and partly inside the enamel pockets. Our products have a pH value that is identical to the natural pH value of the oral cavity, which is approximately 7. As a comparison, soft drinks have a pH value of 2.9 which makes them much more acidic and more likely to damage teeth enamel.

The Beconfident Teeth Whitening gel is first placed into your mouth tray. Once the tray is inserted over your teeth the active ingredients in the gel start to break down. Oxygen then enters into the enamel and dentin which then breaks down the stain inside the tooth. The quality of the Beconfident products ensure that the structure of the tooth is not changed, and that only the tooth colour is made whiter.

Results can vary depending on the strength of the product and how often it is used. Some products can show results in a few days whilst other products may take a few months to show the full results. The majority of Beconfident customers are able to whiten their teeth within 1-2 weeks.

Most people see results already after the first treatment in as little as 15 minutes. The number of treatments you need depends on what your teeth look like before starting treatment. Between 1 and 10 treatments are often enough to whiten teeth. Factors that affect the number of treatments include how white you want your teeth to appear and how discoloured your teeth are before treatment.

We recommend that you whiten your teeth once a day during the treatment. Some people choose to whiten their teeth both morning and evening to get faster results. When you are happy with the whiteness, you simply end the treatment. You will see a gradual shade difference so you do not risk getting unnaturally white teeth.

No teeth whitening gives permanent results. After a treatment, the teeth will gradually become discoloured again by such factors as coloured food and drinks [such as coffee, tea, soft drinks and red wine], ageing and smoking. The results lasts for 6-8 weeks and after that you can easily repeat the treatment to maintain the result.

The LED Booster Light has an automatic timer of 15 minutes (for one application) and is expected to last for 20 applications. To replace the batteries, open the battery lid and replace with 2 x CR2032 batteries.

The Beconfident LED Booster Light is shipped with a small plastic disk underneath the batteries in order to prevent the light from turning on during shipment. To enable the batteries to become activated first open the battery lid on the bottom of the Booster Light and remove the the plastic film under the battery. Replace the batteries + side up and replace the battery lid. Press the button to start LED Light. The LED Light will go out automatically after 15 minutes.
